Headhunters (Hodejegerne)

headhuntersAn accomplished headhunter risks everything to obtain a valuable painting owned by a former mercenary.

This Norweigian feature by Morten Tyldum is pretty damn spectacular.

Rule # 1: Be sure to know everything about who you visit.
Rule # 2: Never take more than ten minutes.
Rule # 3: Do not leave any DNA.

Headhunters is a smart, snazzy and entertaining action thriller cum black comedy based on a novel of the same name by crime writer, Jo Nesbø.

Roger Brown is 5ft 6 and fully aware of how his own Napoleon Complex has manifested itself in the form of a trophy wife, an expensive apartment and accomplished career in recruitment. Interviews with top-level executives also provide him with useful information about their private lives, hobbies, schedules and most importantly… the valuable paintings hanging in their homes.

Roger loves his life and art thieving on the side sustains his extravagant lifestyle rather well until one day; a potential job candidate (and former mercenary) crosses his path. Soon, the resourceful and clever recruiter finds himself smeared with cutting edge transmitters and running for his life.

Violence and mayhem — for fans of pure violence and survivalist thrills only.
